This morning, Wissahickon Middle School parents and staff were notified about an anonymous tip that included information about a social media post of an eighth grade student that raised concern because of a photo of a gun. The post was quickly reported to the Whitpain Township Police Department and the School Resource Officer, and did not turn out to be a viable threat. See the Safety Alert below:
