Whitpain Supervisor, Adam Zucker announced good news for Whitpain Commuters that travel Penllyn Blue Bell Pike today.

The Township has determine that over time, the cycles of the traffic light at Route 73 and Penllyn Blue Bell Pike have changed, reducing the green light time for traffic on Penllyn Blue Bell Pike by approximately 20 seconds.

The township will be resetting the light to add 20 seconds to the green cycle for vehicles traveling on Penllyn Blue Bell Pike.

20 seconds may not seem like a lot but that will allow an extra few cars through the intersection at every cycle.
