Montgomery County sent out a notice just after 10:00 a.m. this morning that stated that the Wissahickon Creek is rising and just below the flood stage.

UPDATE as of 10:28 a.m. – The flood gates are being lowered in area of the Wissahickon Creek. Stenton Ave will be closed between Flourtown Road and Mill Road. In addition, West Valley Green Road will be closed between Stenton and Cricket.
