Wissahickon School Board to hold special meeting regarding the instructional plan for the remainder of the school year

The Wissahickon Board of School Directors will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 16th at 7:30 p.m. to consider the district’s Health/Safety Plan and Instructional Program Plan for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.

Nearby districts have been holding meetings for a similar purpose and boards have voted to offer a more traditional in-school instruction model.

Earlier this week, the Colonial School Board voted 7-2 to return to offering a five-day in-school instructional model while continuing to offer virtual instruction.

Last night, the Abington School Board voted 8-0 (one member was absent) to return to offering in-school instruction four days a week (Wednesdays will be virtual and the school will be cleaned). Those wanting to continue with virtual will be able to do so.
