Due to the pending resignation of Ms. Debbie Greenstein, a member of the Wissahickon Board of School Directors (to become official on 12/2/19), it is anticipated that there will be a vacancy on the Board starting in December 2019. Letters of interest and resumes are being accepted from qualified district residents who are interested in filling the departing member’s spot on the Board until the next municipal election in November 2021.

Application materials (letters of interest and resumes) are due no later than 10:00 a.m. on 11/25/19, and can be submitted to Mr. Joe Antonio, President, Wissahickon Board of School Directors, 601 Knight Road, Ambler, PA, 19002 or via email to egeorge@wsdweb.org.

The Board will review the submissions at its regularly scheduled Work Session meeting on 12/2/19 at 7:00 p.m. and select candidates to move to the next step in the process.  Interviews of the remaining candidates will take place at the regularly scheduled Public Board Meeting on the evening of 12/9/19 at 7:00 p.m.  It is anticipated that a decision will be made at that meeting, and in any case, at a public Board meeting no later than 30 days after the resignation is official.
