Wissahickon School District exploring later start times for schools

The Wissahickon School District is exploring having later starting times for schools. There has been a growing debate over the past few years as to whether it would be beneficial to students to start learning later in the morning.

The district is holding a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, January 26th at 7:00 p.m. to provide an update on what the district has explored at this point and what the pros and cons are of adjusting school start times later. There will also be the opportunity for the public to comment and ask questions.
