Saturday, May 20th is the 21st Annual Ambler Auto Show. Butler Ave. turns in an Ambler cruise night from 1 to 6 pm and over 200 vehicles will be competing for prizes. Many of Ambler’s restaurants and other businesses will be offering specials you can take advantage of while strolling down Butler Ave. and admiring the classic cars. Produced by volunteers from the Ambler community, the Ambler Auto Show benefits Ambler Main Street, a community organization that promotes business and community development in Ambler, and has spearheaded Ambler’s business revitalization. The show began as the vision of a small group of locals, including the late Al Whitcomb, who served as the chairman of the event for many years and shepherded its growth and development. The Ambler Auto Show is very proud to award the Al Whitcomb Memorial Best-In Show trophy to the owner whose vehicle receives the highest number of votes. That vehicle then becomes the show’s featured star for the following year’s event.
