3rd Annual Pike Fest This Saturday!

The weather is clearing and Lower Gwynedd Township will be celebrating its 3rd annual Pike Fest this Saturday, September 15th, from 10am – 4 pm, on Bethlehem Pike between Penllyn Pike and Sheble Lane.

Starting with the Born to Run 5K , the fest welcomes more than 100 artisans and local businesses, food trucks, free amusements for the kids, music, a farmstand, the Wissahickon High School Marching Band, and the award-winning WHS robotics team.  Other highlights include a Ft. Washington School of Rock performance, a woodworking demonstration, the Ambler Rotary Beer Garden, face painting, and a whipped cream pie face game courtesy of the Stoogeum.

The Fest celebrates all that makes Lower Gwynedd a special place to live, work, shop, and play.  We had a chance to catch up with Lower Gwynedd Supervisor Chair, Kathleen Hunsicker, and talk about Pike Fest:

The momentum continues into Lower Gwynedd Township’s third annual Pike Fest. We have abundant vendors many of which are our very own LGT businesses.  We look forward to another great day on Our Pike enjoying entertainment,  food, drink and a bon homie that is our community,  Lower Gwynedd.  Cheers!

Free parking is available at Gwynedd Mercy Academy and Wissahickon High School.

Also, look for Around Ambler’s booth on Saturday- we will have great raffles and will also be selling the Ambler Card, which offers discounts to local businesses to card holders.
