The Ambler Theater will be celebrating their 90th birthday next week and will be screening the first movie they showed on their opening night on December 31, 1928.
Our Dancing Daughters (1928) is an early Joan Crawford film that captures the essence of The Roaring 20’s. On Tuesday, October 23rd you will be able to experience this film as it would have originally been presented…on 35mm film and accompanied by a live score. Ben Model, silent film composer, will accompany this film on Tuesday night. See event and ticket information here.
In addition to the film, Ambler Theater has some other birthday surprises in store, and will be presenting their annual report. As a special thank you to members for their support, this event is also free.
