The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning from 3pm this afternoon until 7am on Monday. Heavy snow is expected, now with a possibility of 5-8 inches making Monday morning’s commute messy.

Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches expected. Rain or snow develops this afternoon, then all snow by evening which should fall heavy at times tonight before ending early Monday morning. Travel could be very difficult. Snowfall rates of up to an inch per hour will be possible between about 5pm and 11pm. While the snow will end before the Monday morning commute, hazardous conditions should still be occurring from the earlier heavy snow.
