Mr. David J. Signore, a Veteran and co-owner and president of the Ambler Coal Company (252 N Main Street), passed away on Sunday, March 1. He was 75.

Mr. Signore served the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Intrepid in the early 1970s, his obituary said. Following his service, he began his career as a service technician for the family business, which he later owned in partnership with his brother, Robert. He retired in 2023.

“Throughout his career, David demonstrated a commitment to high-quality customer service and to educating the next generation of HVAC technicians,” his obituary said. “He was a member of the Bucks-Mont chapter of the Oil and Energy Service Professionals (OESP) organization and served in leadership positions for the PA Petroleum Association.”

Mr. Signore “made significant contributions to the fuel oil and building materials supply industries”, his obituary said.

Services were held on March 7.
