BET to host informational meeting about proposed redevelopment in Lower Gwynedd

BET Investments has invited the public to an informal meeting on Thursday, March 26th at 6:30 p.m. to provide an update on its proposed redevelopment of 321 Norristown Road in Ambler (Lower Gwynedd Township). The property is the home of the Spring House Corporate Center and currently includes a pair of office buildings, a barn, and associated parking lots, driveways, signage, etc.

In 2025, BET proposed to redevelop the property by replacing one office building with an apartment building and add a retail building along Norristown Road. The building BET sought to demolish was mostly vacant, while the other building, which is fully leased, would remain. The zoning code does not allow residences, retail, or restaurants on the property. BET hoped that the township’s supervisors would amend the zoning code to allow the project to move forward, but they were asked to revisit the plan with the township’s staff and take into consideration input from the community.

According to the township, the new proposed plan is similar in that it involves demolishing one of the office buildings, and keeping the other. The demolished building would be replaced by a four-story, 278 unit apartment building with an interior parking garage. Instead of a single retail building, BET is proposing three commercial retail buildings with a total of 47,000 square feet. There would also be additional parking, and an emergency access between Spring House Corporate Center and Gwynedd Estates.

The informal meeting will be at 321 Norristown Road in the first floor office space to the left of the entry vestibule.
