The Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard of Ambler is still looking for donations for its Fill-a-Backpack fundraiser before the donation deadline Friday, August 14. The Fill-a-Backpack program aims to make school supplies more accessible for all students.

Priority items include earbuds, TI-30XIIS or TI83 calculators, graph paper, high-school appropriate backpacks (empty) and more. A full wish list can be found on the Mattie Dixon website or on their Facebook page here: Facebook. Donations can be delivered between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to their location at 150 N. Main Street in Ambler.

The supplies will be distributed at a giveaway Tuesday, August 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. K-12 students can fill a backpack or bag with all the supplies they need for the upcoming school year.
