Season 3 of DIY Network’s Stone House Revival is underway and last week’s episode, Kitchen Relocation, featured the oldest house in Ambler located on the corner of Mattison and North Streets.
In the episode, host Jeff Devlin visits the couple at their 1732 home to build them a new kitchen and relocate it to their living room. During the renovation and episode, Jeff and the crew face a few bumps as they knock down a wall, relocate the plumbing and try to preserve the history of the space. Ambler resident, Denise Sabia of The Painted Home, is the design coordinator for the show. She meets with the homeowner’s, the contractors and the host, Jeff Devlin. After Jeff and the contractors decide what can be done, Denise helps pick the finishes (tile, lights, faucets, furniture, paint colors, etc…). A few images below show the work and details that went into the kitchen relocation:

Stone House is on every Wednesday at 9pm on the DIY Network, and the entire team is waiting to hear from the DIY network as to if the show will be renewed for a 4th season.
