Act as a Citizen Scientist for a Day with the Ambler Environmental Advisory Counsel

The Ambler Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) is made up of community residents, seven of whom are appointed by the Ambler Borough Council.  These appointed officials are steadfast in protecting the environment around us.  They advise Ambler Borough Council on how to protect, maintain, conserve, manage and use the natural resources within Ambler Borough.

On January 2oth, the EAC will host Stewardship Saturday, where you can become a citizen scientist by helping to monitor some of the Wissahickon Valley Watershed’s site along the Rose Valley Creek.  Explore and participate in the maintenance of the Ambler Borough Park and help in the mulching of two trees, and thinning of the Catalpa trees.

For more information and to sign up to help out at this event, visit the Ambler EAC page here.
