Ambler Borough announced the appointment of Mr. Kyle Detweiler as the next Borough Manager.

Detweiler will replace Borough Manager Mary Aversa who will retire after 23 years of service. His tenure began on Monday, January 13.

From the borough’s announcement:

Mr. Detweiler comes to Ambler from Telford Borough where he had been serving concurrently as both the Borough Manager and the Manager of the Telford Borough Municipal Authority. Prior to his time there, Kyle served as Finance Director for the Whitemarsh Township Municipal Authority. Mr. Detweiler received a BA from Muhlenberg College with a Dual-Major in Business Administration and Media & Communications, and an MBA from La Salle University with concentrations in Management and Finance. Kyle also recently spent several seasons as the head football coach at Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor. Mr. Detweiler’s start date in Ambler is January 13, 2025.
