A “No Kings” protest is expected to be held at E Butler Pike and E Park Avenue in Ambler on Thursday, March 26 from 5:30 – 7:00pm.
The protest is being organized by Community for Change Montgomery County, which is “a network of residents, advocates, and organizations committed to building a county—and a world—where everyone’s rights, safety, equity, and freedom are protected,” according to their website.
Over 1,000 “No Kings” events across the country will take place on Saturday, March 28. Ezra Levin, a rally organizer and the co-founder of the group Indivisible, told Politico that the protest is in response to a “secret police force terrorizing American communities.”
Community for Change Montgomery County is hosting similar protests in Collegeville, Eagleville, and Lansdale on March 26, according to their calendar.
