Sarah and Ryan Schamp of Ambler welcomed the Philadelphia area’s first baby of 2026, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Henry Schamp was born at the stroke of midnight New Year’s Eve at Penn Medicine Doylestown Hospital.

His parents described the moment as “surreal” and “picture perfect.” According to Penn Medicine’s post, Henry weighed 8 lbs., 9 oz., and measured 20.5″.

His hospital bassinet is lined with Polaroid snapshots of his two-year-old sister, Willow, The Inquirer said.
