Ambler Resident and Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Senior is Top Entrepreneur in Philly After Diamond Challenge Pitch Competition

Ambler resident and Springside Chestnut Hill (SCH) senior, Andrew Cramer, recently won 2nd place (a $7,000 prize) in the international Diamond Challenge entrepreneurial competition out of 700 participating teams.

Andrew developed a website product during SCH’s signature class, Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership program, called CampusSelect , a web platform that connects high school students in the college search process to current, compatible college students at their desired schools through video chat. A graphic of how Andrew’s product works is below:

Andrew’s product, CampusSelect, received the Business Concept competition award, the only Philadelphia high school team to receive this award. Andrew is heading to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the fall. Andrew worked closely with, Samarth Gowda Andrew’s co-founder and CTO of CampusSelect, last summer during their internship at Leangap in Boston. Samarth is a senior at Lower Merion High School and will be going to Carnegie Mellon University, Tepper School of Business in the fall.
