Ambler, Say Hello To Pie and Plate Cafe!

On Saturday, February 13th, a new era of pie begins in Ambler. Ambler’s newest eatery, the Pie and Plate Cafe will be opening their doors to the public for the first time. Located at 43 N. Main St. – at the corner of Main and Walnut Streets in Ambler – the cafe will open at 9 am on Saturday morning and will be open all weekend to serve your sweet and savory needs.

Operating Jimmies’ Cupcake Truck for over 6 years, the folks at the Pie and Plate are taking their Vendy nominated talents to a brick and mortar business in Ambler via sweet and savory pies, pot pies, biscuit sandwiches, quiches and more. Keeping it “Ambler”, the cafe’s coffee is a special blend by local coffee roaster Parry Coffee Roasters. The menu rotates as the seasons change and per the mood of the owners (their words, not ours!). This weekend you can find such decadent delicacies as the Mt. Pleasant Ave. – a banana cream pie with vanilla pastry cream and whipped cream in a white chocolate coated shortbread crust AND the Main Street – a Pie and Plate signature – roasted cashew, brown bottomed butterscotch pie, roasted cashew graham crust with a dark chocolate ganache layer and butterscotch custard…AND MORE!  Ambler street names have never sounded so appetizing!

It’s supposed to be cold this weekend – what better way to fight the freeze than a hot cup of coffee and a sweet piece of pie? Stop by and welcome Pie and Plate Cafe to Ambler!
