The Ambler Theater will kick off November with screenings of “The Killers” on November 11 and “Double Indemnity” on November 19.

The theater’s monthly retrograde series returns with a 35mm screening of the ’90s cult classic “Super Mario Bros” with a Mario Kart 64 tournament beforehand in the annex museum space. More details here.

A $5 Family Matinee series will feature “Short Circuit” on November 8 (free for members) following by a Member Appreciation Matinee screening of “Some Like It Hot” on November 9 (members only and free).

On November 18, the theater will show “Big” followed by Family Matinee holiday screenings of “The Grinch” on November 28 and “The Muppet Christmas Carol” on November 29.
