Noir City Philadelphia, an annual noir film festival, is coming to Ambler Theater the weekend of November 13. Noir City’s 2026 theme is “Face the Music,” and features nine classic movies centered on musicians. Films include “The Man with the Golden Arm” and “Sweet Smell of Success.” A full schedule of showtimes can be found here: Ambler Theater.
Noir City Philadelphia will be hosted by Eddie Muller, president and founder of the Film Noir Foundation and host of “Noir Alley” on Turner Classic Movies. Muller will introduce each film before screening. In addition to movies, Muller will host information sessions and cocktail hours to discuss the film noir genre.
Along with Muller, Turner Classic Movies writer Hannah Jack and editor of Noir City magazine, Imogen Sara Smith, will be in attendance.
