Ambler Theater to reopen on Friday, June 4th

The Ambler Theater has announced that it will reopen on Friday, June 4th. During the initial phase of its reopening, the theater will offer two shows a day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The films scheduled to play this weekend are as follows:

Dream Horse stars Toni Collete and is described as follows:

Experience the inspiring true story of Dream Alliance, an unlikely race horse bred by small town bartender, Jan Vokes (Toni Collette). With very little money and no experience, Jan convinces her neighbors to chip in their meager earnings to help raise Dream and compete with the racing elites. Their investment pays off as Dream rises through the ranks and becomes a beacon of hope in their struggling community. Also starring Damian Lewis.

The Truffle Hunters is an Italian film and is described as follows:

THE TRUFFLE HUNTERS follows a handful of men, seventy to eighty years young, in Piedmont, Italy, on the search for the elusive Alba truffle. They’re guided by a secret culture passed down through generations, as well as by the noses of their cherished and expertly trained dogs. The documentary subtly explores the devastating effects of climate change and deforestation on an age-old tradition through a visually stunning narrative that celebrates life and exalts the human spirit.

In addition, the Ambler Theater will be showing two classics, Casablanca and His Girl Friday. Showtimes and details on buying tickets can be purchased here.

While restrictions on capacities have been lifted in Pennsylvania, the theater is going to only sell to 50% capacity. It is also requiring everyone to wear a mask throughout the building. You are permitted to remove your mask while seating and eating.
