As AroundAmbler.com reported, J.P. Mascaro & Sons requested that the Borough of Ambler allow it to switch the trash and recycling collection from Wednesdays to Mondays in 2023.

During the discussion about the request, members of the borough council expressed concerns about being able to notify the public about the change in such a short amount of time and that many holidays are on Mondays.

The request was granted by a vote of 8-1 (the lone vote against was from Nellie Forst who represents Ward 3).
