On the June 23rd agenda for Lower Gwynedd Township’s board of supervisors is a public hearing involving a proposed text and map amendment for the MF-3 zoning district.

If adopted, an entity associated with developer BET Investments could then seek a conditional use to allow a four-story apartment building and three retail buildings at 321 Norristown Road in Ambler (Lower Gwynedd). BET’s proposal would maintain one of the two office buildings on the property that is home to Berkadia.

In prior meetings about the proposal, residents have expressed concerns over issues such as density, the impact on schools, and traffic.
