Approved apartment community in Ambler receives state funding towards sidewalk and road improvements

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Finance Authority’s Multimodal Transportation Fund has awarded Ambler Lakeview Development $504,754 toward sidewalk and roadway work along North Maple Avenue in Ambler.

Ambler Lakeview is an approved 92-unit apartment development at 9 North Maple Street that has not yet started construction. Summit Reality Advisors is the developer. Summit was also behind the redevelopment of the Ambler Boiler House and The Crossing at Ambler Station.

Funding from the Multimodal Transportation Fund can be utilized for the development, rehabilitation and enhancement of transportation assets in the state. The Commonwealth Finance Authority was established in 2004 as an independent agency of the Department of Community and Economic Development to administer Pennsylvania’s economic stimulus packages.
