The City of Philadelphia has established Thursday, February 8, 2018 as the date for the public celebration and parade for the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has said all of it’s Philadelphia and suburb schools will be closed Thursday in order to celebrate, and released this:

Given projected city street closures and heavy demands on public transportation in the Philadelphia region, Archdiocesan high schools and parochial elementary schools in the City of Philadelphia will be closed on February 8^th.

In order to permit members of all our school communities to participate in this celebration, Archdiocesan high schools and parochial elementary schools in the suburban counties will also be closed on February 8^th.
