If you are into the Beatles, the Ambler Theater is screening ‘Deconstructing the White Album’, on Saturday November 19th and Monday, November 21st.
From the Ambler Theater:
Join us for a screening of this special presentation courtesy of Abramorama and The Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, NY. Earlier in the year, composer and Beatles expert Scott Freiman visited the Jacob Burns to film this in-depth exploration of one of the Beatles’ most notorious albums: the mammoth, sonic achievement, the White Album. Released in 1968, the White Album’s thirty songs span almost every style of music—from hard rock to country to chamber music to avant garde. Mr. Freiman transports the audience into Abbey Road Studio for a multimedia look at the revolutionary techniques used during the production of this iconic record.
