As avid Around Ambler readers probably already know, we are crazy for the new Bành Street Restaurant located in Spring House. The brainchild of Chef Chad Rosenthal and partner Michael Golden, the Vietnamese flavored take-out spot has been tantalizing tongues all around Ambler. Besides feeding the lunch and dinner rushes, Chad and MIchael are also donating to a worthy cause.
Today, as promised, 10% of the opening weekend’s take went to the Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard of Ambler. Mattie Dixon is a “501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been meeting the needs of local individuals and families whose incomes fall at or below the Federal Government Poverty Guidelines for over 40 years.”
This is great news for Bành Street and Mattie Dixon. Great job and kudos to all involved.
