Brews & Scoops, a specialty coffee and real fruit ice cream shop, is preparing to open at 1201 Dekalb Pike in Blue Bell (Whitpain Township). It is located next to Citrus Citrus Salon and Day Spa.

The ice cream menu isn’t the traditional scoop shop style. Here you ask for a small or regular cup, or a milkshake, and then select a fruit to be blended with chocolate or vanilla ice cream. Then you pick a topping or drizzle. Waffle cones are also available.

An opening date has not yet been announced, but it the business has gone through a pre-opening inspection by the Montgomery County Office of Public Health.
