Michael Klein of The Philadelphia Inquirer reported on April 10th that a new restaurant is coming to 9 North Main Street in Ambler. From the article:

A James Beard nominee is headed to the burbs. Chef Dionicio Jiménez and Mariangeli Alicea Saez of Cantina La Martina in Kensington are branching out to Ambler with a moderately upscale BYOB called La Baja, where the cooking will fuse the northern border cuisine of Baja with Mediterranean and Asian ingredients.

The restaurant space at 9 North Main Street has been home to several restaurants over the past decade. It has been Rosey’s BBQ, El Cerrito Mexican Cuisine, El Jefe, the Korean restaurant Mokja, Mandarin Express, Gabby’s Banh Mi, and most recently Ambler Burgers & More.
