Changes to the SEPTA Regional Rail Schedule Effective This Week

There is a schedule change that started yesterday on the SEPTA Regional Rail lines to accommodate rail and tie replacement projects.

Major changes to Regional Rail service for the Ambler area are listed below; however, customers should still refer to the ONLINE timetables with the March 11, 2018 effective date for complete service information. Saturday and Sunday service will not change as part of the March 11 schedule change. SEPTA released this information:

Lansdale/Doylestown Line

Due to a rail and tie replacement project, buses will replace midday trains between Doylestown and Lansdale stations on weekdays, beginning Monday, March 12, 2018. Construction is expected to last through July 2018. Select trains (noted below) will also depart at different times than previously scheduled as part of new March 2018 schedule.

Other changes on the Lansdale/Doylestown Line include:

Train #519 going towards Center City, previously departing Lansdale at 8:48a, will now depart at 8:43a.

Due to construction, trains operating between 9a. and 2p between Lansdale and Center City stations will operate with hourly service. Customers should check the new online timetable for specific departure times.
