This Friday, Weavers Way Ambler will celebrate the 1st Anniversary of the Co-op offering $4 Friday Dinners. Not only has it been a year since Weavers Way has begun to foster the community through dinners with local residents, but Weavers Way will also serve their 20,000th Friday night meal on January 25!
Each week, hundreds of Montgomery County residents come to enjoy made-from-scratch hot meals at Weavers Way. For only $4, anyone, not just co-op members, can enjoy a meal complete with sides to eat-in, BYOB-style among friends and live music or takeout from 4-8pm.
Weavers Way will be joined by some special guests to commemorate the big day. State Senator Marie Collett, State Representative Mary Jo Daley, Montgomery County Commissioner Ken Lawrence and Ambler Mayor Jeanne Sorg will join in the celebration.
For $4 customers get a main course (vegan options always available) and two sides. This Friday, the menu includes, Pork Vindaloo or Vegan Chana Masala, and Green Beans with Coconut White Rice and Naan. And of course, there will be free cake to celebrate the anniversary. Additionally, Objective Perspective will be playing live jazz throughout the dinner. They will be playing on behalf of Playing for Change Foundation, which raises funds for music education for children all over the world.
