Chef Chad Rosenthal, who is closing The Lucky Well in Ambler at the end of the year, is opening a new restaurant nearby at 58 East Butler Avenue. This location was most recently Retrofuture Coffee.

The new restaurant, Rosey’s, will see Rosenthal revisit Vietnamese Bánh Mì sandwiches, which he previously had his hand in with Bánh Street. Bánh Street had two locations (Lower Gwynedd and Abington townships).

On the Rosey’s website, Rosenthal shares the following:

We’re passionate about creating Bánh Mì hoagies that celebrate simplicity and the freshness of the ingredients. Our Bánh Mì are more than just a sandwich – they’re a rich culinary symphony of umami, sweet, sour, salty, savory, flaky and aromatic…all in one bite. Join us at Rosey’s for a celebration of what we believe is the greatest sandwich in the world, by far— the Bánh Mì !

An opening date has not been announced.
