Curiosity Doughnuts Coming to Whole Foods Market Spring House

Fresh, hot doughnuts will be made made in-store daily at the new Whole Foods Market opening March 14.

Whole Foods Market is partnering with Ideas in Food’s Aki Kamozawa and Alexander Talbot to bring Curiosity Doughnuts to Whole Foods Market Spring House.  Curiosity Doughnuts has been heralded as one of the country’s best doughnuts by food writers and industry insiders, earning the title of Philadelphia Magazine’s Best Doughnut 2016 and taking the first spot in bestthingsnj.com’s Ten Best Doughnut Shops in New Jersey. Currently, Curiosity Doughnuts are only available two days a week at the Stockton Market in New Jersey.

The Curiosity Doughnut’s venue in Whole Foods Market Spring House will offer a variety of fresh yeasted, super cake and cruller doughnuts made in-store daily, in flavors ranging from Cinnamon-Cardamom Sugar to Passion Fruit. Doughnuts will be available everyday beginning at 7 a.m. and sold until they are gone. Curiosity Doughnuts owners Aki Kamozawa and Alexander Talbot added:

“We are so excited to be opening our first full-time venue at Whole Foods Market Spring House…We are both committed to the idea that responsibly-sourced, quality ingredients make the world a better, more delicious place. Customers can pick up our fresh doughnuts as they shop for groceries or grab a quick dinner, and we can use the store’s wide variety of ingredients as a constant source of inspiration for new doughnut flavors and ideas.”

Alan Morgan, who is the culinary and hospitality director for Whole Foods Market’s Mid-Atlantic region, remains committed to identifying local food innovators like Alex and Aki, and is thrilled to have Whole Foods Spring House be home to Curiosity Doughnut’s first seven days a week shop.

” In Alex and Aki, we’ve found local partners who share our commitment to a continued pursuit of excellence in food and an appreciation for the highest quality ingredients. We can’t wait for our customers to taste these truly elevated doughnuts – just make sure to get here before they sell out!”
