The Dental Hygiene Clinic at Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell is looking for patients with periodontal (gum) disease. During the Spring semester, these patients can schedule an appointment with the clinic, and will receive a free initial screening to determine eligibility. The Dental Hygiene clinic has been providing the public with comprehensive preventive dental hygiene services utilizing modern equipment and the latest technological advances since 1973.
If interested, contact the Dental Hygiene Clinic at 215-641-6483 and leave a message with your name and telephone number. The clinic is located in the Health Sciences Center near the 595 Cathcart Road entrance in Blue Bell.
Once accepted, the patients treatment could include things like: a complete oral and periodontal health assessment, dental x-rays ( if necessary), education in self-care, scaling, fluoride treatments and teeth polishing.
Each treatment is $20 for adults and children, $15 for senior citizens and $10 for MCCC students.
