On June 6th, a detour on parts of Virginia Drive in the Fort Washington Office Park begins and is expected to last at least a year. Three structurally-deficient bridges on Virginia Drive are being replaced.

From Montgomery County Media:

Reconstruction of the first two bridges — Virginia at the traffic signal by DeVry University and Virginia between Camp Hill Road and Verizon — will be done at the same time to minimize impact. Completion is anticipated for the end of June 2017.

There will actually be two detours – Through Traffic and Local Traffic. Please be advised.
