Family Code Night Events in Upper Dublin School District

From December 2018 to February 2019, a team of 12th grade Upper Dublin High School students and their computer science teacher Mr. Hayden will be conducting ‘Family Code Night’ events throughout the Upper Dublin School District. These events will take place across the four elementary schools; all students currently enrolled in either Jarrettown, Thomas Fitzwater, Maple Glen, or Fort Washington may attend this event (with a parent/guardian) at their school.

This is the second year in a row that Upper Dublin has offered this family-friendly event, where students and their parents/guardians can learn all about coding.  With lessons that involve Scratch Junior and other well-known programs tailored to young students, families can learn the basics of programming in a fun, stress-free environment. Even those students who attended a Family Code Night event last year are welcome; a new coding experience has been created specifically for returning students.

Please contact your elementary school principal for specific instructions on signing up for this event; space is limited, so sign up today!
