Fireside Bar & Grille is celenbrating its 20th anniversary in Ambler (Upper Dublin Township). Fireside replaced Rookies, which itself had followed Crane’s Tavern.

When Rookies closed in 2006, the Penna family worked day and night to reopen as Fireside in just five days, according to owner Pete Penna. Fireside opened its doors on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 4:00 p.m.

To celebrate, Fireside is holding a 20th anniversary event on Saturday, October 24th with a balloon artist from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., live music with Rich Cox from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and prizes and giveaways all night.
