Bryan and Matt Quigley, cofounders of Stateside Vodka, were featured today by Chestnut Hill Local in an article titled “Brothers’ basement alchemy brought forth a beverage bonanza“.
According to the story, the brothers began their business in 2013 in the basement of their parents’ home in Fort Washington. The company’s core market includes the northeast territories from Rhode Island to Virginia, and the corporate side of the business now includes 11 Major League Baseball teams.
Bryan graduated from Chestnut Hill Academy and Hofstra University in New York before working for a financial planning firm in Newtown Square, and Matt graduated from Upper Dublin High School and Penn State University before starting a Philly cheesesteak shop in Norman, Oklahoma.

Matt took a summer internship at Michigan State University’s distillery and the brothers found financial help to launch Stateside Vodka’s Kensington distillery in 2015. Since then, the company has expanded to 49 states and 250 employees.
An excerpt from the article:
In the past decade since opening a distillery, Stateside Vodka has become a thriving business, expanding from the two brothers to over 250 employees. Their products are sold in 49 states, with Utah soon to be the 50th, and Stateside has already signed deals to sell internationally. They launched multiple ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages, including Stateside Vodka sodas and Surfside, a highly-popular drink made with vodka, tea and juice.
