Four buildings in greater Ambler made The Philadelphia Business Journal‘s list of the 20 largest office buildings in the Philadelphia suburbs:
- No. 6: The Fort Washington Technology Center at 1100 Virginia Drive (756,360 sf)
- No. 7: The West Building at 2101 Welsh Road in Dresher (609,751 sf)
- No. 10: The Promenade at Upper Dublin at 1103 Market Street in Dresher (496,050 sf)
- No. 12: The North Building at 2101 Welsh Road in Dresher (435,715 sf)
The Fort Washington Technology Center
The Fort Washington Technology Center is formerly a Honeywell facility and has been redeveloped into a modern office space with amenities like a fitness center, cafeteria, and a tech lounge by the Norwood Company. Toll Brothers is headquartered there.
Promenade East
Promenade East, a 90-acre site at 2101 Welsh Road, is owned by BET Investments. In July 2024, Upper Dublin Township approved a plan to build a residential, retail and commercial development on the Prudential tract. The proposal calls for 600 apartments, 160 stacked townhouses, 100,000 square feet of medical or corporate office space, a 150-unit senior and assisted living facility, potential hotel and an Upper Dublin police substation.
The Promenade at Upper Dublin
The Promenade at Upper Dublin is owned by BET Investments and includes a 25-acre mixed use community with retail stores, restaurants, and high-end apartments. More details here.
