The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning which is in effect from 10am this morning until 8pm tonight.
Winds will be Southwest 15-25 mph with gusts up to 35mph becoming West-Northwest at 20-30mph with gusts up to 60mph.
Damaging winds can blow down trees and power lines. Numerous power outages can be expected and travel will be difficult with the strong wind gusts, especially for high profile vehicles.
A High Wind Warning means a Hazardous High Wind Event is expected or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40mph or gusts of 58mph or more can lead to property damage.
