Since our last update on November 2nd, Montgomery County’s COVID-19 data hub reports that there were 118 new cases of Coronavirus on November 3rd and 131 on November 4th. These new cases bring the total countywide since the start of the pandemic to 14,346.
Two additional deaths were reported on November 4th, bringing the total for November to four. The total number of deaths countywide since the start of the pandemic is 842.
The 14-day PCR Positivity Rate as of October 30th is 4.39%. This is up from 4.02% on October 28th is 4.02%. Having this number under 5% is considering having the virus under control.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health’s data hub shows that there are 101 hospitalizations due to Coronavirus in Montgomery County as of November 4th. That is up from 84 on November 2nd at noon. There are seven patients who require a ventilator, which is no change.

The number of cases from the most recent 14 days is 721 more than the 14-days prior. The most recent seven days is 251 more than the previous seven days.
Locally, here are the current numbers:
- Ambler is at 189 cases, which four more than since November 2nd. There have been 16 deaths
- Lower Gwynedd is at 217, which is three more than since November 2nd. There have been 35 deaths
- Upper Dublin is at 395 cases, which is 11 more than since November 2nd. There have been 20 deaths
- Whitpain is at 256 cases, which is four more than since November 2nd. There have been 15 deaths
