The Whitpain Township Board of Supervisors has announced that on June 21st at 6:00 p.m. there will be an informal presentation regarding a potential land development proposal for the property that was previously the longtime home of Reed’s Nightclub located at 1486, 1462, and 1448 Skippack Pike.

In September of 2018, NorthPoint Development Company made an informal presentation regarding the same property that would have sought to develop an assisted living and memory care community consisting of 92 units. This project never moved forward.

This new presentation will be from Franklin Realty, which is based in Blue Bell. Its website shows it has developed office and residential projects.

In the announcement about the presentation, the board of supervisors stressed that the presentation is for information purposes only, as no formal applications have been submitted for review.
