Kansas City Chiefs Draft Wissahickon High School Grad

Unless you haven’t turned on a television or have been on the internet this week, you know that the NFL Draft is taking place in Philadelphia this year and the crowds have been enormous. Even more local to Ambler, Wissahickon High School graduate, Tanoh Kpassagnon, was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs with the 59th overall pick in the second round.

An Ambler native, Kpassagnon played his college ball at Villanova University as a defensive end. In 2016, he started all 13 games for the Wildcats and notched 11 sacks and 21.5 tackles for a loss. In 2016 he was also a consensus first team All-American.

His academic career isn’t too shabby either. From Villanova University:

“A three-time member of the CAA All-Academic Team, Kpassagnon graduated in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He earned a second degree in December of 2016 in Accountancy.”

Good luck to a local man making good!
