Kurt Baker has announced his retirement after serving 29 years as Whitpain Township’s Parks and Recreation Director.

Family, friends, and staff members joined the Board of Supervisors at Tuesday’s board meeting to congratulate Kurt on his long career.

Kurt has also served as President of the Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society (PRPS), co-chaired the annual PRPS conference, co-chaired the Montgomery County Senior Games and chaired the PA Youth Sports Panel.
