What local businesses are doing to help aid Houston

Many Ambler restaurants and businesses are aiding and helping those suffering from the devastation of Hurricane Harvey by running specials,  holding raffles, and donating to specific groups to help with rebuilding efforts.

Last week, Gypsy Blu offered discounted gift cards , and raised over $2,000, which will go directly to aid in Hurricane relief.

The Lucky Well has been donating 50% of all Brisket sales and Banh Street will donate 50% of all Ribeye Banhmi , Friday, Saturday and Sunday to #chefs4houston .

Ambler Beverage is currently raffling a Stella Artois picnic basket/cooler, in which all proceeds will be donated to The Red Cross efforts in Houston.

Meg English, senior artistic designer/salon educator at Barberella Salon, started a Facebook page, “Help for Harvey’s Stylists and Salons“, where extra styling tools can be donated and sent to those salons affected by the hurricane.

There are still ways to individually help and donate to the relief efforts in Houston, the simplest is by giving directly to the Red Cross by clicking here.
