Lower Gwynedd Township announced Tuesday, July 14 that it is forming a zoning focus group to review changes to the township’s Zoning Ordinance. The group will be part of Lower Gwynedd’s Bethlehem Pike Revitalization plan, a project meant to update Bethlehem Pike and align the surrounding area more with residents’ desires.

The focus group will be made up of residents and business representatives. Meetings would occur between late August and October, and participants would be asked to attend two to three meetings. The Lower Gwynedd Township Board of Supervisors also asked for residents’ input on what should be changed or kept along Bethlehem Pike. The information from community response will be used to inform updates to Lower Gwynedd’s Zoning Ordinance, said the township. Any changes to the ordinance would contribute to the township’s ability to attract and retain businesses.
