Lower Gwynedd woman arrested for stalking and breaking into the home of a man she met on a dating app

Lindsay Harris, 30, of Lower Gwynedd, is accused of breaking into a home in Fairless Hills (Bucks County) on June 28.

According to Philly Crime Update, the home belongs to a man Harris met through Match.com in January. He reportedly told her he no longer wanted a relationship.

Police said the two met in person once, but Harris continued contacting him after being asked to stop.

The man told police he found Harris inside his home after discovering an opened bottle of wine and food left out. He allegedly saw Harris outside attempting to climb through a rear window.

Falls Township Police Chief Nelson Whitney told NBC10 that the man said he had never given Harris his home address.

“People are pretty good at finding other people on the internet,” Whitney said.

Responding officers arrested Harris and charged her with burglary, criminal trespass, stalking, and related offenses, Philly Crime Update said. She was released after posting 10 percent of $50,000 bail and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on July 21.
