Maple Glen resident and Upper Dublin High School Alum (’90) Johnny “Pickles” Collins played 108 pickleball matches over 24 straight hours this past week and raised over $10,000 for the Delaware Food Bank to give out over 700 turkeys to families in need this Thanksgiving. The event took place at Dill Dinkers pickleball center in Newport, Delaware.

“Johnny Pickles” has played internationally and qualified for the US Open of Pickleball the past two years. He is known for always wearing a full suit while playing. During the record-breaking fundraiser, he wore 12 different suits over the 24 hours.
